We had some very special custom framing projects this past week:

From a special gold leafed mat for a California Rodeo poster; we built a shadowbox for some items that were collected from the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles; we played with depth and no color at all because we wanted the full focus to be on a beautiful @takashipom print; and for a beautiful scroll we built a 6 foot tall shadowbox with a minimal design sense. Fabric is always such a beautiful touch with antique scrolls. We kept it simple with this deep, painted maple frame.

Underglass has been custom picture framing in San Francisco since 1982. We love our craft and the art we get to frame.
