Custom Framing An Old Newspaper Ad - Museum Quality Framing Looking Contemporary

Custom framing this 44 year old 1978 New York Rocker, Rock’n Roll illustration Kellogg’s sugar corn pops with Iggy Pop. This illustration was photographed by Bill King and collaborated with Bobby Grossman . We wanted to preserve this antique newspaper print to our best conservation framing abilities and make it look great. We hinged the paper to a mat so it is floating on it and used the same color mat and created a sink float style to show the full page of the paper with all its worn and aged appeal.

We love how it the color of the natural maple wood grain frame and mats works with the discolored newspaper and gives it a fresh look. Our museum quality framing glass will shield the artwork from harmful UV light and also cuts out most annoying glare!

This print is on display right now at our frame shop here in San Francisco - come by and see it, it’s amazing! We are open daily and can’t wait to see what your next framing project is!
