For this artist proof of “Positive and Negative Space” by Roderick Wells we floated the print on a dark mat that visually continues the artist’s theme of space. The floating technique allows us to show the fine art paper’s edge. The wooden, brushed metal look frame gives this wall frame design a slight contrast so your eyes stay with the art.

Our client wanted to add a little color to the custom frame design and we went with creme colored mat to float the art on and create a bit of space between art and frame.
