Before the weekend comes here are some of this weeks highlight we framed right here in San Francisco!

We love photography, especially black and white and we couldn't be more thrilled to pick mats and frames for these wonderful pieces of art. First a photograph by Ralph Eugene Meatyard (1925-1972), Photographer from Kentucky . And second an antique photo paper advertising for Ansco, a photographic brand name that manufactured film, paper and cameras from the mid 1800s til 1980s.

We opted for a nice, heavy steel welded frame and clean white mat for the Meatyard photograph and a wooden grainy, rustic frame with a soft silk mat for the old Ansco advertising paying respect to both, tradition in framing photographs as well as conserving fragile art with museum quality framing materials.
